The Andotrans Team Torrentó faced the sixth round of the Spanish Superbike Championship (ESBK) This weekend, 3 Y 4 of September, in the Circuit of Navarra - Los Arcos.

The Saturday started with the qualifying session. En Superbikes, Oscar Gutiérrez got the second fastest time in the QP, so he took the front row on the starting grid. Mario Mayor, who started the race in seventeenth position, could go back to P9. Meanwhile, Abdulla Alqubaisi, which started from P18, had a fall in the third corner, so he lost a lot of positions, but got up and finished at P15.

The day of Sunday started with the warm-up and in both categories the good feelings were consolidated. At 13 h the second race of the weekend of Supersport Next Generation, Aleix Viu He started from the twelfth position and suffered a fall that prevented him from continuing. the pilot of Navarra, Mario Mayor, started from P9, managed to advance positions and finish seventh. The Qatari, Abdulla Alqubaisi, that came from P18, was able to gain some positions finishing fourteenth and so, add his first points in the championship.

One hour later, in the last race of the weekend, Oscar Gutiérrez started from the first position. The #99 managed to manage a very good race, ending in the third drawer of the podium.

Anyway, Aleix Viu has concluded the sixth round as the leader in the general classification of the championship, with an advantage of six points with respect to the second classified of the general. As to Mario Mayor, the pilot of Navarra, has finished this test in the tenth position of the championship and Abdulla Alqubaisi has finished his first weekend with the team, adapting satisfactorily to the category and getting their first points. As for the queen category, Oscar Gutiérrez has finished the weekend in second position in the general classification.

The ESBK it's coming to the end of the season, in the Jerez Circuit the last test will be held, the weekend of 15 Y 16 October.
